UNIMC-MGIMO double master's degree program

The relationship between the University of Macerata (UNIMC) and Russia is getting closer and closer. In recent days, Rector Francesco Adornato was invited to Moscow to attend a conference on political transformations in modern Europe. Professor Adornato was welcomed by the leaders of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO University), which is under the governance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation. There was a multi-year collaboration between the two universities, that recently enabled the launch of a double degree program valid in both countries. Professor Adornato also met with UNIMC students who will graduate from the university in Moscow in June.

“[Moscow State Institute of International Relations] is a prestigious university,” the Rector commented, “where the country's leaders are formed and where our students have the unique opportunity to develop themselves. This [double degree program] will allow them to have more job opportunities since they can use their degree both in Russia and in Italy in the economic and institutional relations between the two countries. Thanks to the same agreement, students from the University of Moscow also come to Macerata to attend our master's degree in English in international political science. In conclusion, the University is a stable bridge between cultures and societies, a path of dialogue beyond political contingencies and conflicts.”.
